The Tech Hiring Market: 2022 Predictions

A look back at 2021 and predictions for what 2022 will bring for hiring software engineers and tech professionals.

In the December issue of The Scoop, I asked for help in sharing observations about 2021 and your predictions for 2022-23. In response, 35 people – the majority being engineering managers – shared detailed insights. 60% of respondents are hiring managers, and 90% of people work in software engineering.
