The Software Engineer’s Guidebook has taken more than four years to write – and it’s finally ready! I hope you find it a useful resource which serves your career well
Congratulations on the book! Glad to see you’re working with the same Indian publisher Joshua Starmer went with, he had a lot of issues getting his book out the way he wanted until he tried Shroff.
Thanks! I've talked with several authors in India and Shroff was the one most people have had a good experience with. My goal was finding a partner/publisher where people could get good books (not low quality) and can help keep poor quality / photocopied pirates off Amazon India (Amazon India itself doesn't do a great job with this)

Hi Gergely, great news!
I will try to get this book for all software engineers in my org. Would you by any chance have a recommendation for such a book for business analysts / product owners in Tech?
George: I would suggest to look into *business* and strategy books though as the job of such folks is to figure out how to help the business grow, what is important etc. See the "product and strategy" recommendations here: https://newsletter.pragmaticengineer.com/p/holiday-book-recommendations
when will you release the ebook version? I tried to buy the book from Amazon but the shipping cost to VN is too expensive, almost the same price as the book :(
Great stuff! Please send out an e-mail if you release the e-book version, I would definitely buy it for kindle!
I will!
I'm looking forward to the e-book. Keep up the great work! :-)
It will come and will note it in the newsletter as well, when it is out. And thank you!
Insta-buy can’t wait
Congrats! I look forward to get my own copy and giving it a read.
Congrats George! Ordered your book last night, and looking forward to reading 400+ pages!
FYI, Just got my copy from Amazon! 😃

Agreed, I saw that Alex Xu was having a particularly hard time with Amazon.
Congrats on publishing the book! Looking forward to see the news about the e-book being available

Thank you!
It looks like it is sold out. Do you know when the next batch will be printed?
Wow, which region is this? I ordered a copy from amazon.de just this morning...
amazon.co.uk is completely sold out
Amazing work Gerg. Enjoying the book.
Yes ebook will be handy as can not carry paper back everywhere.
I am regular reader of your great blogs so will keep an eye for the release of e-books.

I'll get around to it once I sort the gaps in print, including to Vietnam! I'll send a note on the newsletter, as well as to people entering their email here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScpllU0dAm2zKhO0_HPv9IyJhjho0_ZyaoiEKkAK1O1hrbM3Q/viewform
Ah, too bad it isn't available in e-book :(
